The World Bank has launched a multi-partner initiative under the Global Data Facility (GDF) to help low- and middle-income countries integrate phone phone data (MPD) into their national data systems.
The GDF-MPD programme is partnering and coordinating with many experts, including Flowminder, to deliver essential resources, programmatic support, and knowledge through several rounds of country cohorts.
As part of our engagement with the World Bank GDF, we have supported the team in the development of the programme's theory of change and and created a maturity assessment framework.
The maturity assessment is a framework to assess the maturity of mobile phone data initiatives in a country and identify stakeholders required to conduct such assessment, enabling users to understand the broad range of dimensions which are critical to the success of a mobile phone data initiative.
