This collaboration aims to support Ghana Statistical Services (GSS) in building a sustainable framework for integrating mobile network data into the production of official statistics. Working in partnership with Vodafone Ghana, Flowminder will set up, with FlowKit, a secure processing pipeline to give GSS analysts a secure and easy access to Vodafone aggregated CDR data outputs. Flowminder will develop methods to enable GSS analysts to produce statistics related to population distributions and migration patterns using inputs derived from mobile phone data.
