Apphia Yuma, BA
As Project Manager, Apphia is responsible for managing and advising on our operations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Prior to this role, as Country Officer working on the GRID3 Mapping for Health project, she coordinated gender & equity and GIS capacity strengthening activities in the DRC.
Apphia has a strong background in Trusts and Foundation fundraising and has collaborated with grassroots organisations in the DRC. Driven to create impactful change in Sub-Saharan Africa, she has a dedicated focus on enhancing health and humanitarian outcomes in the DRC. She believes that Flowminder is a fitting organisation for her, as it drives innovations in data for humanitarian and development decision-making. Apphia works closely with our in-country partners to support the implementation of innovative approaches that can improve the DRC's vaccination coverage.
